Suzuki GS150R

Engine
GS150R employs a powerful engine with BS26 carburetor (No Fuel Injection). The engine also gets TPS (Throttle positioning Sensor). GS150R engine is shaped for better riding on city roads. Ideally the bike is designed with an acceleration performance in the low to mid range speeds, important for city driving. The engine is also equipped with engine balancer technology to combat vibrations. GS150R balancer system is fixed with balancer-driven gear fitted with a rubber damper for reducing the impact noises. GS150R 149cc engine develops 13.8 bhp of peak power at 8500 rpm and 13.4 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm. It comes with 6-speed transmission. Gear shift pattern is 1-down and 5-up.

Design And Comfort
Suzuki GS150R stands confidently against the competitors with the outstanding look radiated from its cowl, big fuel tank and wolf-eyed headlamp. However, the pilot lamps on either side of the headlamps look bit lousy. The best feature of this bike is the advanced gas-charged fitted with hydraulic suspension system for a comfortable ride. Additionally, the Suzuki GS150R sports digital speedometer with dual modes for different road conditions at varying speeds. But sometimes sunlight may cause reflection of chrome-ringed tachometer on the face.

Ride And Handling
Suzuki GS150R owns digital instrumentation and gear change indicator. The instrument panel looks very good. The bike is slightly heavy while turning and the leaning angle is less due to the absence of monoshock. The comfort level is really good offered by the broader seat and gear shifting of the gears is smooth. The bike offers a mileage of 60 kmpl in the city and 65 kmpl on Highway. On the whole, it is a good package for the commuters in the 150cc segment.

Variants, Price And Color
The Suzuki GS150R is available in Pearl Nebular Black Grey, Metallic Flint Gray, Candy Max Orange, and Candy Dark Greenish Blue.
